To add a new business location choose Add New Location. This will allow you to manage all your locations using a single Marketer Locator Account.

To edit a business location's information choose Edit Location.

To remove a business location choose Delete Location.

To add a new user to a business location choose Add User.

To remove users from a business location, choose DELETE to the right of the user's name.

To remove this entire account first remove all business locations (select Edit Location then Delete Location). You will then be able to choose Delete Account, removing all information and user access associated with this Marketer Locator Account.

To change your name, email address, or other personal information, click Edit my user information.

Find a Propane Retailer Helpful Hint #1
Here’s the first in a series of helpful hints about the Find a Propane Retailer program. It is very important that all information included in the Find a Propane Retailer database is kept current. To update information, please visit http://members.propanecouncil.org. Under “Current Member Login” enter your username and password in the appropriate boxes and click “log in.” Next, click “marketer locator program.” On the next page, “Manage My Locator Account,” scroll down to the area titled location and click “Edit Location.” Please update all of your location’s information and click “save.” To receive your username and password please contact nisha.starks@propanecouncil.org.

Find a Propane Retailer Helpful Hint #2, Logos
Company logos add a personal touch to listings in the propane marketer locator. As a default the PROPANE Exceptional Energy® logo appears, but a company logo helps to distinguish your company. To add a logo to your listing please visit http://members.propanecouncil.org and login to the marketer locator program. After clicking on the Edit Location button scroll down to Upload Your Business Logo and click Browse, then locate your logo on your computer.

Logos that are 150X100 pixels (width X length) or close to this size will appear the best on the website; however, other sizes may be uploaded. The program accepts jpeg, gif, and png graphic files.

Find a Propane Retailer Helpful Hint #3, Consumer Leads
Hundreds of consumers search the propane marketer locator every week and many request contact from a marketer. When consumers request that your company contact them you will receive an email at the address indicated in your online profile. This email will include a link to your leads. To view the consumer contact information click the link, log in to your account, and click the View Leads Inbox button. Once in your leads inbox you may view the information entered by the customer by clicking on his/her name, or you may export the leads to an Excel file by clicking the Export button.

Participation in the Find a Propane Retailer program requires that you respond to consumer leads within three business days.

Find a Propane Retailer Helpful Hint #4, Consumer Leads Statistics
Would you like to find out how many consumers have viewed your company’s profile on www.usepropane.com? Would you like to know how many consumers have requested that your company contact them? Find out now. These statistics are collected and available within your online account. To view your consumer leads statistics log in to your account at http://members.propanecouncil.org, click the View Leads Inbox button, then click View Your Marketer Locator Statistics. Leads statistics are provided for the past 30 days as well as the past 365 days (please note the program began in September 2003).

Find a Propane Retailer Helpful Hint #5, Adding Users

One of the newer features of the Find a Propane Retailer program is the ability to add additional users to an account. This feature allows multiple persons to have access to the company’s account without providing your personal password. The additional users will have the ability to update information in the company profile and check consumer leads. Notification, however, of new consumer leads is sent to the email address indicated in the company profile. Adding an additional user to an account is easy: Login to the Find a Propane Retailer program at http://members.propanecouncil.org. Then click “add user” at the bottom of the page. Next, enter all the necessary information and click “save.”
